Promoting wellbeing, mental health awareness and suicide prevention
We’ll use music and kotahitanga (togetherness) as a tool for healing and growth. Our aim is to uplift, inform and provide hope to our rangatahi and their whānau by equipping whānau with tools for Ora-Life.
Tahawai Festival offers a range of activities and services, including music and dance performances, health and mental health support services, free counselling, a quiet zone, fun family activities, a much more.
It is with great sadness, that due to unforeseen circumstances, we have had to make the difficult decision to postpone the Tahawai Festival 2023 to next year 2024.
This decision was not made lightly, and we thank you for supporting this event. A full refund of tickets will be given. Details from Iticket will follow shortly as to that process.
Mental Health and Suicide prevention are such important kaupapa and we remain committed to them. We hope we can look forward to your support once we firm up the details for Tahawai 2024. We would like to wish you all a safe and happy Christmas and festive season. Take care of each other.
If you have any immediate concerns or questions, please don’t hesitate to contact us at info@tahawaifestival.co.nz;
